This was a concept illustration for another Imagine FX development article I featured in. The idea behind this vehicle is that its a futuristic R.V. I love 80s sci-fi, and its had such a big influence on me. Most sci-fi these days has a more organic and sleek style, which seems to be favoured in the industry by art directors. So when it comes to personal stuff, I can bust out the big chunky retro shapes.
This particular design was based on airport fire engines.
